Georgios Epsimos was born in Athens. He studied physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and pursued postgraduate studies in science education. In 2009, he moved to Xanthi, where he has been teaching science at the secondary education level ever since.

He enjoys sharing the educational materials he creates, mainly through his website (epsimos.com). He has written several books and articles on science teaching and has organized dozens of professional development seminars for educators of all specialties.

He has participated in science popularization theater performances for children and adults, often conducting physics experiments on stage. During the Covid quarantine, he created the silent short film "Pote Tha Kano Mathima (When Will I Have a Lesson)?"

In recent years, he has organized several treasure hunts for students and adults. In 2022, he organized the Riddle Championship at the 6th Junior High School of Xanthi. Shortly afterward, his 11-year-old daughter suggested they go to an escape room together. Since then, they haven’t stopped going, talking for hours about their experiences and the puzzles they encounter.
