Andreas Konstantelos was born in 1960 in Athens with origins from Arcadia and Asia Minor.He studied at the Department of Civil Engineering of the Technical University of Patras. His first professional occupation was the position of supervisor and coordinator of the completion crews of the Municipal Airport of Kastellorizo in the two years 1985-1986. Since then – and having as a professional base the suburb of Anavyssos in Eastern Attica where he is active in the studies and construction of private projects – he has maintained a special relationship with the island. This is why  in the last eight years he has been professionally involved with the reconstruction of many old houses, but also in a personal level with the construction of his own residence on the island.

He participated as a volunteer in the first Kastellorizo PuzzleFestival in September 2021, believing that the island can produce culture and become a positive point of reference around the world, both with the conduct of the festival and with the hiking and exciting routes – which are in the process of implementing the approved study – as well as the mountain trail races that were held for the first time in Kastellorizo in June 2022.
