Municipal Councilor of the Municipality of Megisti

Nikolaos Mayafis is a true native of Kastellorizo, with deep roots and a lasting presence in the local community.

For the past 24 years, he has been professionally active in the catering industry, running his own business on the island. He is also a Municipal Councilor of the Municipality of Megisti, having been elected in the 2023 local elections.

With a special interest in children, family, sports, and the island’s community, he has taken on the presidency of the Parents and Guardians Association of Megisti’s Primary School and Kindergarten, as well as the presidency of the Kastellorizo Nautical Club (NOK).
