Antonia Karamolegkou (ΝΚUA, Uppsala University, University of Copenhagen) once found herself wondering, “How do computers think and speak?” Somehow, that became her job.
She is now a postdoctoral AI researcher at the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (Inria) in Paris, where she spends her days trying to make machines a little smarter and more efficient. As a member of Science Reactors, she also tries to make people a little less—or, when necessary, a little more—skeptical of these AI models. She believes that puzzles, curiosity, and humor are essential variables in the equation of science.
At the Kastellorizo Puzzle Festival, you’ll find her among puzzles and workshops, telling terrible jokes that leave everyone even more puzzled!
